Not to be confused with its sister bar next door (Trapp Door), The Trapp is a welcoming, wood paneled bar where patrons drink cheap beer from mason jars and listen to a little country music. The crowd here is a bit older, the younger guys tend to hit the Trapp Door.
Like other Salt Lake City bars, this is a private club (see our explanation)

EVERYONE IS NICE, SMALLER, OLDER BAR - BUT A GOOD MIX OF YOUNG/OLD ETC. IT'S A GOOD START TO YOUR EVENING BEFORE GOING TO THE BAR NEXT DOOR TO DANCE. COULD INVEST SOME $$$ TO THE BACK LOUNGE AREA, KIND OF EMBARASSING.

A good friend of mine is a memember at The Trapp and we go there three times a month. It is a very freindly and homey bar. Don't let the "western" or "cowboy" tag fool you; all kinds of music can be heard there. People of all ages and genders mix freely in the casual atmosphere. Bring some friends with you and you can't go wrong!
